He has worked for some of the most prestigious broadcasters in the world including BBC News, BBC World, Sky News and, CNBC Europe.

Akhtar has interviewed some of the most famous people in business, news and entertainment and his area of expertise includes international affairs, geo-politics, health and fitness, entrepreneurship, current affairs, travel and tourism and film industry.

He is also a motivational speaker, conference moderator and speaker having invigilated events in London, Dubai, Singapore and Mumbai.
