At Great British Voices, we know how difficult it can be to find the perfect voice for your project, and hiring a celebrity who’s an expert in your industry is always a popular choice – especially for commercials – but celebrity voiceovers often have busy schedules and come at a premium price. So, if you’re after a celeb vo, but logistics, budgets or schedules are a concern then hiring professional impressionists is by far the next best thing to make your project tick, especially if you’re after a comedic angle.
So, whether you’re booking a voiceover artist for the first time or you’re an experienced pro, Great British Voices is here to be your production partner, to assist you with any voicing needs you require.
Darren Altman is an award-winning voice actor and impressionist, identifiable by his appearance in the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent 2016. Originally training as a jazz musician, Darren has a unique understanding of how important pitch and timing is to a recording, and he can deliver a wide range of accents, dialects, character and celebrity impressionist. His experience ranges from computer games to exhibitions and cartoons. He has worked with the likes of Disney, Netflix, Nike, BBC Radio 1, McDonald’s, The History Channel, Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing and PlayStation.
Another star from Britain’s Got Talent, Francine Lewis is a stunning impressionist voicing some of TV’s most popular personalities including Sharon Osbourne, Kim Kardashian and Alan Carr. Her wide range of comic and dramatic voices means she has been in high demand on programmes such as This Morning, Loose Women and Good Morning Britain, as well as touring in West End pantomimes Cinderella and Snow White. As a commercial voiceover, she has worked with the likes of Rimmel London and Special K.
With a career spanning over two decades, award-winning Debra Stephenson has worked on popular shows such as ITV’s Newzoids, Bad Girls and Coronation Street. She is also a go-to for comedic impressions, some of her most memorable being Davina McCall, Anne Robinson and Cheryl. Unbelievably, she has also worked on projects where she’s voiced Melania Trump and even Queen Elizabeth II. Talk about a wide range!
These three impressionists are also available to hire for event hosting and after-dinner entertainment too – along with many more at Great British Speakers.
Not only do we have these three fabulous impressionists, but we also work with a variety of popular character voice actors too who can put their own spin on any character you desire, from spooky Halloween characters to Father Christmas – we’ve even provided voice actors for gaming and live-action displays and events.
