Laura Whitmore is an established and highly experienced TV presenter, radio DJ, writer, actress, and international brand ambassador.
She is best known for presenting Love Island (2020-2022), fronting a range of live events including the Isle of Wight Festival (2013), and hosting her own BBC Radio 5 live series, The Laura Whitmore Show.

With a degree in journalism, Laura Whitmore was always destined to work within the media industry.
Her first appearance came not long after graduation, when she won MTV’s “Pick Me MTV” campaign to find the face of MTV News in Europe. Between 2008 and 2015, she hosted bulletins around Europe for the channel, and was regularly seen hosting special events in her homeland of Ireland and further afield.
Outside of MTV, Laura has presented shows including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! (2011-15), The Hit (2012), This Morning’s “The Hub” (2014), Survival of the Fittest (2018), Love Island (2020-22), Laura Whitmore’s Breakfast Show (2023), and Laura Whitmore Investigates (2023).
In 2016 Laura competed in the 14th series of Strictly Come Dancing, becoming the sixth contestant to be voted out. Since then, she has appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox (2020-present), Celebrity Juice (2020-22), Who Do You Think You Are (2018), and Richard Osman’s House of Games (2021-22). She has also taken part in charity-related television, such as on Channel 4’s The Feeling Nuts Comedy Night (2014) for testicular cancer, and The Great Celebrity Bake Off (2022) for Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Laura is a prominent podcaster, hosting either individually or with her husband, Iain Stirling:

She has used her talents in journalism in writing to contribute articles on topics from abortion to upskirting, the effects of social media and upskirting for publications including The Huffington Post, Grazia, Hot Press, Glamour, and Elle magazines. In 2021, she published the Sunday Times bestselling book No-One Can Change Your Life Except You, an honest account on how she overcome things like heartbreak, self-doubt, and body image worries.

Laura has used her public profile to draw attention to a number of causes and campaigns, such as:
– Being a spokeswoman for the ‘Because I Am a Girl’ charity clothing campaign
– Being a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador
– Launched Misstache For Movember, a campaign for women to support and raise awareness for the men’s health charity
