Sheree Murphy’s first taste of acting came in 1988 when she had a small role in the Ken Russell film, Salome’s Last Dance. She then broke onto the television screen, starring in Only Fools and Horses (1996), The Bill (1996-97), and Berkeley Square (1998). But it was her role as Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale – a role she played from 1998 to 2004 – that really put her on the map. Since leaving the soap, she has acted in The Royal (2006), Hollyoaks (2010-11), and Neighbours (2014-18).

She has featured on popular shows such as Loose Women (2000-16), All Star Family Fortunes (2013), Celebrity Masterchef (2015), Lorraine (2013-19), and Richard Osman’s House of Games (2023). Viewers fell in love with her genuine personality when she was voted runner-up on the 2005 series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
