Jon Culshaw is widely regarded by many as Britain’s best impressionist with unmatched versatility and a catalogue of over 350 voices and impersonations, including Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Professor Brian Cox, Nigel Farage, Alan Carr, John Bishop, Ozzy Osborne, Chris Eubank, Michael McIntyre and Prince Charles amongst many others.
Hugely popular in-demand act for corporate events, dinners etc.
Jon first made international headlines in 1998 by calling the switchboard of No. 10 Downing Street and fooling the operators with his uncanny impression of William Hague, and as a result was put directly through to Prime Minister Tony Blair. The incident was mentioned at Prime Minister’s Question Time and reported across the national press and in Hansard.
Jon’s talents as a performer aren’t just limited to the art of impersonation; he’s built an impressive resume that showcases his strengths as an actor, voiceover artist and presenter too. His love of the outdoors, history, and national heritage has seen him present C5’s The Secrets of The National Trust and More 4’s Walks With My Dog.
A lifelong astronomy enthusiast, Jon was also a part of the presenting team on the world’s iconic and longest running programme, The Sky at Night, first appearing with Sir Patrick Moore on the show’s 50th anniversary.
Jon recently applied his inimitable skills in playing the iconic David Bowie for a BBC World Service radio drama and later a Terry Pratchett audio-drama for Audible, The Unseen Academicals.
A popular guest and entertainer, Jon has appeared on countless programmes over the years including Parkinson, The Nightly Show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Pointless Celebrities, The Chase Celebrity Special, This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Countdown’s Dictionary Corner and Top Gear.
Following a sold out debut tour, 2019 saw Jon embark on his second UK tour of The Great British Take Off alongside Dead Ringers producer Bill Dare. The conversational show sees the pair perform unscripted, unrehearsed spontaneous comedy as politicians, sports personalities and celebrities old and new.
When not performing on screen or on the airwaves Jon can often be found delighting audiences with his hugely popular after dinner entertainment and is a staple of the corporate and events landscape, having performed to rave reviews for many years in his role as awards host, after-dinner comedian and impressionist .
