Dr Makaziwe Maki Mandela

Dr. Makaziwe Mandela was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and is the eldest daughter of Evelyn Mase and Nelson Mandela.

n 1984, she received a Fulbright Foreign Scholarship and a Fulbright Distinguished Fellowship Award to study at the University of Massachusetts in the US for a Masters in Sociology and a Doctorate in Anthropology.

She has had a full and varied career that has involved working in several countries and holds directorships with Nestlé SA among others.

She is an active campaigner for diversity and women’s rights.

Alex Scott MBE

Alex Scott MBE is a former professional footballer, pundit and presenter.

The former Arsenal Captain and England Centurion is the co-host of Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday, a well-regarded pundit for BBC and Sky Sports, a regular on BBC’s Match of the Day as well as an ambassador for Nike and Mastercard.

In 2019, Alex returned to the Strictly Ballroom making it all the way to the Quarter Finals with partner Neil Jones.

Alex has also become a regular guest presenter for The One Show.

Dame Kelly Holmes

A legendary female British Olympian who really does need no introduction!

Kelly set and still holds the British records in the 600m, 800m and 1000m.

An Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European Multi medallist.

After her Olympic success, winning Gold in the 800m and 1500m Athens Olympics in 2004, she won BBC Sports Personality of the Year, European Athlete of the Year, World Athlete of the Year and was honoured with a Damehood from the Queen.

Kelly is passionate about raising awareness of mental health. Her own experience led her to learn more and how to help others. A trained Mental Health First Aider, she assists corporates and individuals through both her commercial work and her charitable activities.

She continues to be President of the charity she founded in 2018, the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.

Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE

From child prodigy to MBE, Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon is Head Stemette and co-founder of Stemettes, the award-winning social enterprise inspiring the next generation of females into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) roles via a series of impactful events and opportunities.

One of the youngest ever to be awarded a Masters’ degree in Mathematics & Computer Science by the University of Oxford at age 20, Anne-Marie, unsurprisingly, continued to soar. In 2018 alone, she was listed among the top 50 women in tech in the world by Forbes, voted the 5th most influential woman in IT by Computer Weekly and was the recipient of the prestigious Barclays UK ‘Woman of the Year’ award.

2017 saw her featured among the top 50 most inspiring women in tech by Inspiring Fifty (an accolade she received for a second time in 2018). In recognition of her significant influence and achievements, Anne-Marie was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honours for services to young women and STEM sectors.

Misha Engineer MBBS BSc (Hons) MBA  has significant experience in building resilience. Lucy Porter

British-Australian author of ‘How to Kill Your Husband’ Kathy Lette first achieved succès de scandale as a teenager with the novel Puberty Blues, which was made into a major film and a TV mini-series.

In recognition of her many novels and advocacy of equality, human rights, and physical and mental health both nationally and internationally, Lette was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) from the University of Wollongong.

Dame Twiggy

Claire Lomas MBE

Claire Lomas MBE became paraplegic in 2007 as the result of a freak riding accident.  She has since become one of the most inspirational sports personalities, having fundraised over £500,000 for charity, and for finishing the London Marathon in 17 days using the ReWalk robotic suit.

Her talks are about the gradual process of turning her situation around, recounts the split second that changed her life and candidly describes the darkest times. Katie Piper made the decision to share her story in a remarkable film for the Cutting Edge strand on Channel 4 called ‘Katie: My Beautiful Face’ which was watched by over 3.5million viewers and nominated for Best Single Documentary at the BAFTA Television Awards in 2010.

Nicola Adams OBE

Off the Strictly ballroom, Nicola Adams OBE is credited as the most successful female boxer of all time. During the London 2012 Olympic games, Nicola became Great Britain’s first ever female boxing Gold medallist, having defeated three-time world champion Red Cancan. Dr Ozak Esu

Ozak Esu was listed as one of The Telegraph’s Top 50 Women in Engineering under 35. At aged 20, she graduated with First Class Honours in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and was awarded a scholarship to complete a PhD in Advanced Signal Processing and Wind Energy, graduating in 2016. Sophie Morgan was paralysed from the chest down at the age of eighteen as a result of a car crash. However this didn’t stopped her from perusing her passions in the creative industries.

Laura Woods

Laura Woods is one of the leading female broadcasters in the sports industry.

Initially joining Sky Sports in 2009 as a runner, Laura worked her way up the broadcast ladder and is now a prominent mainstay on Sky Sports football coverage. Her versatile broadcasting skills have led her to regularly present Sky’s flagship Super Sunday, covering multiple live Premier League fixtures, as well as tackling the hottest issues in The Debate and travelling around the country for their Carabao Cup coverage.
