Brian Conley is a hugely popular comedian, musician, television presenter and theatre star.
In a career spanning over four decades, Brian has appeared in award-winning West End musicals and television sitcoms, presented his own shows, and completed numerous sell-out tours of the UK. He has also proudly appeared a record eight times on the Royal Varity Performance.
Since 2021, Brian has starred as Rocky Cotton, a loveable rogue, in Eastenders.

Starting out in comedy, where he became an instant hit with audiences, Brian Conley has also gone on to have huge success in the West End.
He has played the lead role in musicals including Me and My Girl, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hairspray, Oliver!, The Music Man, 9 to 5, A Christmas Carol, and Barnum and Jolson – for which he was nominated for a prestigious Laurence Olivier Award.
He is also a huge lover of pantomime and has performed many times across the country. His panto career started in 1978 in Dick Whittington. He would go on to star in it on numerous other occasions, as well as in Robinson Crusoe, Aladdin, and Cinderella.
Few performers working in show business today share the hours of live entertainment experience Brian has; having started his career as a warm-up for personalities such as Kenny Everett and Terry Wogan. It wasn’t long before he was offered the chance to star in his own programme, The Brian Conley Show (1992-95; 2000-02), a variety show that quickly became Britain’s most watched entertainment show. He went on to host shows including Brian Conley: Alive and Dangerous (1996), Brian Conley’s Crazy Christmas (1997) and An Audience With… (2002).
An esteemed actor, Brian as starred in multiple award-winning television sitcoms, including Time After Time (1994-95), Last of the Summer Wine (2008), and The Grimleys (1999-2000). Whilst predominately known for his TV work, Brian has appeared in several feature films, including West is West (1987), Circus (2000), Arthur’s Dyke (2001), Marple: By the Pricking of My Thumbs (2006), and I Am Bob (2007).
Brian is a popular guest and performer, and has been seen on The Keith Harris Show (1985), Surprise Surprise (1993-94), This Morning (1993; 2005), Family Fortunes (2001), The Wright Stuff (2005; 2007-09), Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (2009), The Alan Titchmarsh Show (2009), The One Show (2009), and Loose Women (2007-11).
Brian has competed in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! (2012)- although he had to pull out due to medical issues – Driving Academy (2014), and on the 15th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
He has won numerous awards including a British Comedy Award, a Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for Most Popular Performer, and a TMA for his performance in The Music Man, as well as a nomination for The 2000 National Television Awards for Most Popular Comedy Performer.
Brian has also released five musical albums; his first, Sings, was released in 1993, followed by Stage to Stage in 1996, Songs from the Shows, Brian Conley Sings, and Let the Good Times Roll, all in 2002.
After a career spanning over 40 years, Brian still firmly remains one of the UK’s most charismatic and loved entertainers. He is in huge demand for corporate work, and counts Coca-Cola, Shell, and Tesco as former clients.
