Corporate Presenter Dan started out in the media industry as an award-winning student winning 2 National TV Awards and fronting, producing and directing a number of documentary films on SKY and BBC 3.
He then moved on to CBBC hosting the weekend morning show hosting ‘Ready, Steady…Drink’ on BBC3. He has reported from many red carpet and music awards including New York, for the Disney Channel Games in NYC and MTV music awards, interviewing a number of high profile celebrities and musicians in live and studio settings.
During his time in New York, Dan honed his craft and auditioned for a multitude of roles, eventually landing him an amazing opportunity presenting a new Disney Channel ‘gungy’ game show pilot ‘3,2,1 GO’ and being a guest host of the ‘Disney Channel Games’ and ‘Breakfast Disney’.
Back in the UK, Dan immediately put his new found skills into action and founded ‘Ubeat TV’ a weekly online studio music talk show which saw Dan directing, producing, hosting and interviewing some of the biggest names in UK entertainment. Dan got ‘Ubeat TV’ commissioned by Made TV, for Sky, Freeview and Virgin platforms.
The show is now in its incredible fifth successful series, and is one of the most watched programs on the channel with a TV audience of over 270,000 viewers per episode per week. This has led on to Dan devising and hosting ‘The Ubeat Music Awards 2015’. The full show was aired and televised on Made TV, on December 28th, 2015 and will be back again – even bigger this year, direct from the O2 Academy.
Dan has toured in theatres up and down the country, presenting the ‘Beyond The Lights – UK’ talent competition which features an array of hugely talented singers and dancers battling it out in front of different celebrity guest judges each night, to find the winner, which will be crowned at the star-studded arena final.
This summer will see Dan back hosting the second series of the outrageously funny topical news show ’Trust Me? It’s News!’ and the fifth series of ‘Ubeat TV’, on Made Television, Sky Channel 117, Freeview 8, & Virgin Media 159.
