Dynamic, quick-witted and astute, corporate presenter Louisa is an accomplished TV and radio broadcaster as well as an exceptional host of live events ranging from award ceremonies to cookery theatre and everything in-between! Louisa currently presents a daily radio show on the BBC.
Louisa is a presenter and journalist with over 20 years’ experience of live broadcasting at both the BBC and in the commercial sector. Equally at home with speech and news as entertainment and music, Lou is currently presenting the daily Drivetime show for BBC Solent, covering Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
Away from daily radio presentation, she also fronts corporate videos and podcasts, is an experienced event facilitator in both the charity and Blue Chip sectors, does voiceover work and frequently pops up on TV as a presenter and reporter.
Louisa is also an accomplished event host, thriving in front of a live audience whether it be in a corporate, commercial or entertainment environment. She has hosted everything from award ceremonies and conferences to compering cookery theatre and stage shows. Lou has also worked extensively in the field of media training, working with large companies on crisis management.
Louisa has also appeared in a number of pantomimes over the years, having played Dandini in Cinderella and the Wicked Stepmother in Snow White. It was the latter she enjoyed most!
Behind the scenes, Louisa is an experienced producer, having re-launched many mainstream shows on BBC radio and won permanent licences for numerous commercial stations around the country. And, away from radio she’s also worked as a Script Editor on the BBC’s flagship soap EastEnders, on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast in the late nineties and at Central Television.
Outside of work, Louisa is passionate about the theatre and has recently been involved in producing shows at the London Hippodrome.
