Rich has vast experience in high pressure situations for television, commercials, feature films and corporate videos of any type. He has worked extensively either with autocue or having to memorise lengthy scripts (with subtle dialogue changes for different edit versions), single or multicamera setups, and green screen or other VFX shots.
He is used to having to hit marks or repeat actions, perform long uninterrupted takes, and has even worked with animals on more than one occasion. He’s probably most recognisable as the star of the Topcashback adverts since 2015.
Rich brings his natural humour and confident yet relaxed, nuanced delivery to every project, assisted by his background in comedy: he has performed live stand up, sketch comedy and improv at the Edinburgh Fringe, written his own award winning online comedy series, and even appeared as various characters in Dom Joly’s hidden camera show, Fool Britannia.
As a comedy actor he recently worked on Series 2 of sitcom The Rebel (where he was assaulted by Simon Callow), and has also appeared on Channel 4’s The Last Leg (where he was assaulted by Mr Blobby), ITV’s The Delivery Man (assaulted by Paddy McGuinness), and even Birds of a Feather (not assaulted, but embarrassed by Pauline Quirke).
Rich is also a busy voiceover artist regularly voicing television and radio commercials, promos, corporate explainer videos, video games and audiobooks.
If you need someone who will not only bring your television programme, documentary, commercial or training film to life, but also turn up on time, make everyone on set relaxed, and not need anyone to do his hair… Rich is your man.
