Edie Lush is an award-winning British-American journalist, futurist, events MC, and communication trainer. Hosting events virtually and globally – from Davos to Cannes – Edie is a popular keynote speaker and event moderator with a history of journalism, climate change, and politics.

With a degree in Political Science, and a Masters in International Relations, Edie Lush went straight into a career of journalism as the Political Analyst for Omega Advisors and then UBS. Her political career then merged with her love for journalism, and she has since worked for The Week Magazine on business, technology, and entrepreneurs, Spectator Business as the Associate Editor, and as a TV Presenter for Bloomberg, focussing on economics and politics.
Between 2018 and 2023, she was an Executive Producer and Co-Host of the Global Goalscast podcast, aiming to inspire people to help save the world.
Alongside her journalism career, Edie has been an International Relations specialist for both the Secretary General of the Organization of American States in Washington, DC and the Hungarian political party SZDSZ in Budapest; the Festival Chair at Intelligence Squared; a Sales and Marketing Director; and the Chair of the British-American Project, a fellowship of over 1,000 leaders and opinion formers across a range of occupations.
In 2016 she released her bestselling book, How to Speak With Confidence in Public. The book built upon her own experience in the public eye, and helps readers to build their presence and profile, and explore techniques that will help readers present themselves in a confident and compelling way.
