Fehinti Balogun is a distinguished multimedia creative, using his platform to draw attention to meaningful conversations and drive results in the realms of climate change, and equality.
As an actor, he has worked on platforms including BBC, HBO, ITV, Netflix, and Paramount Plus, on programmes such as This Will Destroy You (2020), and in Hollywood blockbusters such as Dune: Part One (2021).
Fehinti is a high profile campaigner and eloquent public speaker on climate change having delivered a TED talk in 2022 which has amassed and incredible 1.3m+ views.
Fehinti has spoken at the UN COP 26 Climate Summit, The Scottish Parliament, Cambridge University, the English National Opera, YouTube’s Creator Summit, The Greater London Authority, NBC Universal and TED Countdown.
Fehinti Balogun initially trained in theatre and television performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Through this experience and training, he now places a strong emphasis on human connection as a means of understanding differing perspectives.
As well as his acting, Fehinti is also a versatile writer and creative, having previously featured in The New York Times, along with various other global news outlets. He has an ease in his way to articulate complex issues such as climate change, and engage audiences through various creative mediums.
Fehinti has spoken at some of the world’s most prestigious locations, such as Cambridge University, the EF Global Leadership Summit, the London Mayoral Hall, NBC Universal, the Scottish Parliament, the UN’s COP 26 Climate Summit, and YouTube’s Creator Summit.
In 2022, he gave a TED talk entitled ‘How to Find Your Voice for Climate Change’, which has since gained over 1.3 million views.
