James won Best TV Promo for CNN’s Call to Earth Day,  at this year’s prestigious  One Voice Awards. He was also nominated in three other categories: Best Radio Commercial, Audio Drama and UK Male Voiceover of the Year 2024.

He was also Voiceover of the Year 2023 at One Voice Awards,  Voiceover of the Year 2022 at Vox, and Winner TV Promo 2024 for CNN’s Call to Earth Day promo.

James’s career has spanned all aspects of the business, from theatre to film and television, commercials, and voiceovers. He has led everything from Ibsen to Sondheim, from the Royal Shakespeare Company to Georges in La Cage aux Folles at the London Palladium. Over the years, he has voiced campaigns for products worldwide.

James can be heard in the Gold Podcast Award-winning ‘Once Upon a Time in Zombieville’, reading 7 Ages of Man for Red Frost Motivation, reciting all 150 Shakespearian Sonnets on Calm Radio to Documentaries for Science Museums and national parks.

He also voices the Suzuki commercials in Australia and The Scottish Cup Final in Scotland.
