Rising young broadcaster James Stewart is one of the most popular voices on radio and television, passionately reporting on science, sustainability and the environment.
Initially training as a climate scientist, James transferred his knowledge to the silver screen through the BBC’s commitment to sustainability programme. James can often be seen making films across the UK, and further afield, reporting on everything from climate change refugees, to increasing numbers of seals in the North of England. When not on the road, James can be found in the BBC Morning Live (2010-) studio presenting vital eco hacks.
His down-to-earth and natural personality make him endearing to audiences, and he is bound to make your next event a roaring success.

Alongside his commitment with the BBC, James Stewart has worked with a number of high-profile brands on their sustainability promises including Bosch, the Financial Times, National Geographic, O2 and Yeo Valley.
James has created a number of mini-films and advertising campaigns alongside big-brand names to promote sustainability and the importance of caring for our environment. He worked with Aviva in 2021 to share ways to make the future more sustainable. He also teamed up with Plant Based News to promote the importance of keeping the world’s coral reefs healthy.
He discusses anything from eating sustainably-sourced fish to the benefits of a vegan diet, from choosing reef-friendly sun creams to reusing silicone packets, from deleting junk mail to washing your clothes with conkers, from choosing the perfect Christmas tree to data poverty, from food waste to deforestation, all with the aim of lowering our carbon footprint.
As well as being one of the go-to environmentalist TV presenters, James can also be heard on Heart FM, presenting the UK’s largest commercial early breakfast radio show on weekday mornings.
Due to his rising popularity, James has expanded his presenting topics, including hosting the live red carpet coverage at the Oscars for the E! television channel, and working with Mercedes to launch the London Fashion Week SS/2017 show. His interest in fashion means he was named the ambassador for international men’s grooming brand Johnny’s Chop Shop in 2017.
James’ experience and passion for the environment makes him the perfect choice for hosting and speaking at sustainability events. He has previously spoken at EDF Eco Tips Net Zero week and the COP26 Employee Festival.
