Jamie Raven is one of the most popular touring magicians in the country at the moment. After his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, his show ‘The Illusionists’ debuted at The Shaftesbury Avenue, which went on to break the box office record and became the most successful magic show in the history of London’s West End. He would perform the show again in 2018 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai where it sold every single ticket for the three-week run.
In high demand for his unbelievable craft, Jamie has completed a number of national and international tours. From 2016-to 2018, his solo tour performed in over 150 different venues across a number of different countries, and his 2022 tour ‘Illusion Impossible’ aims to achieve the same limitless results.
2019 saw the opening of his very first shop, school and theatre, where he performed almost 300 shows in his own purpose-built venue with the aim of inspiring the next generation of magicians. He also released his own set of five magic sets which quickly sold out in over 150 UK retailers including Harrods and Sainsburys.
Jamie has been seen on channels including BBC, ITV, GB News, STV Scotland, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky One, Sky Sports, BBC News, Sky News, BBC World News and CBBC, in programmes such as Lorraine (2010-), Good Morning Britain (2014-), Loose Women (1999-), Blue Peter (1958-), Match of the Day (1964-), Football Focus (1974-), The Gadget Show (2004-), Pointless Celebrities (2010-) and Gogglebox (2013-). He is also a popular face on social media with a following of over 23,000 on Twitter, 13,000 on Instagram almost 40,000 on Facebook.
He has been invited to perform at a number of big events including for BBC Sport on the side-lines of FA Cup games, on the BBC’s Bruce’s Hall of Fame (2014) and aboard the inaugural Virgin Atlantic flight to Detroit alongside Sir Richard Branson. Following the incredible success of his live shows and his popularity on our television screens, he was invited to St James’ Palace to perform for HRH Prince Charles as part of his private Christmas celebrations.
Jamie uses his public image and skill set to support a range of charities and is a very proud patron of CWSNF, Spread a Smile, The Ark Trust, Anstee Bridge and Ataxia, and is a supporter of Rays of Sunshine, Clic Sargent, Make-a-wish, British Airways Flying Start and Chickenshed.
