Sport has always been a big part of Jessica’s life and she spent her childhood and teenage years playing football for Charlton Athletic Women.
Beginning her career as a BBC trainee, Jessica was soon promoted to Olympic Sports Reporter where she produced films on British and international athletes and their journeys to, and during, the 2012 London Games.
For the 2016 Olympics, she broadcast to an audience of millions across BBC TV, radio and online as a live reporter. She’s also featured on flagship programmes The One Show, BBC Breakfast, Match of the Day and Final Score.
In 2015, Jessica was named Journalist of the Year by the Women’s Sports Trust, was awarded a place on the Football Black List, which celebrates influential figures in football from the black community, and was featured as a rising star of the TV industry by Broadcast Magazine.
