As a host and executive producer, Jo has starred in a variety of her own shows including ‘Supernanny’, ‘Family Matters’, ‘ Family SOS’, ‘Extreme Parental Guidance’, Jo Frost: Nanny on Tour and ‘Jo Frost on Britain’s Killer Kids.’
Jo’s direct yet caring style of teaching has helped millions of families around the world to achieve their desired results, as the most recognisable and trusted parental expert and family advocate worldwide as she has spent more than two decades executing professional and highly-effective tools and advice that are televised to (and read by) millions of families around the world.
Jo has encouraged and helped parents find results with different child-rearing challenges – from potty training and sibling rivalry to sleep challenges and tantrums – and continues to place practical solutions into homes, whether the problems are extreme or everyday challenges. Jo’s experience as TV’s leading parental educator has brought her lasting global recognition.
In addition to being awarded the RTS Royal Television Award and the International Rose Dior Award in the UK, Jo was also nominated for the TV Guide’s People’s Choice Award in 2006, and she received an International Emmy Award nomination that same year.
Her multiple television programmes are aired throughout Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and most recently in the Middle East. The programmes air in over 300 territories in total.
Jo has been headhunted from around the world to provide parental seminars and workshops as a keynote speaker for many corporate organisations. Saudi Arabia, England, Holland, Singapore, and Australia are just a few of the countries she has visited by request and worked hands-on with families. She is inundated daily with hundreds of personal requests and she continues to help individuals and families within the community to face and overcome challenging family issues.
Jo is also a proud global ambassador for The United Nations Campaign Shot@Life (on the importance of global immunisation), Anaphylaxis Campaign UK/USA (organisations to raise awareness and provide support for people with life-threatening allergies) and a parental educator for YoungMinds (a charity that supports the emotional and mental health of children and young people). She also provides her continual service to other charities such as Book Trust, Save the Children and other leading cancer foundations.
