Kathryn Burn is best known for making it to the final of the 2022 series of The Apprentice, eventually losing out on Lord Alan Sugar’s investment to Harpreet Kaur. But this was not her first foray into the world of reality television. In 2017, she appeared on The Island with Bear Grylls.
Even though she did not win the show, Kathryn has become a fan favourite, and is now a popular television personality and content creator, whilst still maintaining that entrepreneurial spirit.

Kathryn Burn never lost her love for business, and even though she may not have received Lord Alan Sugar’s investment, she relaunched her pyjama business Pyjamily with her latest collection selling out almost instantly, alongside sister brand My Christmas Pyjamas.
Whilst she wants to learn more and help her business to grow, Kathryn is also passionate about inspiring other young potential entrepreneurs. She provides tips and an insight into her private and professional life to her almost 100,000 social media following. She likes to show that you can be a serious businesswoman whilst having outside interests – such as fitness, travel, music and property.
She has appeared on national radio programmes, including for BBC Radio Wiltshire, and was also a regular guest on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, where she discussed topics frrom fashion to finance. She has also made appearances on BBC Network Radio where she aired her opinions on new Apprentice episodes.
Kathryn has also travelled to schools across the country offering business and media advice. Before her time as a fully qualified mortgage advisor, Kathryn knew very little about mortgages but soon learned the importance of financial education at a young age. She provides motivational talks and workshops in school, offering them business and inspirational advice. She is keen to inspire and motivate young entrepreneurs, and teach them that you can achieve success without following a conventional route.
She is passionate about female business owners, and tries to steer young female entrepreneurs so they do not feel intimidated by this industry of men.
