Kieran Tompsett is a star of the hit BBC show The Traitors. Keith, who is also a survivor of a knife attack, has lived experience of PTSD and trauma, and speaks openly about this and male mental health issues.
Kieran, who is also a business process consultant, was considered The Game Changer of The Traitors after delivering his ‘parting gift’, the exposure of Traitor Wilf which could change the lives of the three winning contestants. This made for one of the most dramatic and jaw-dropping reality scenes on British TV.
In recent years Kieran has suffered extensively with PTSD after suffering a number of emotional events, including the horrific and life-changing experience of being stabbed, losing his mother – who he described as his best friend – and the death of his 17-month old baby nephew.
Kieran is a multi-faceted speaker who draws on his experiences in the hit show The Traitors, as well as surviving a knife attack that could have taken his life; coping with PTSD, as well as talking more generally about men’s mental health, suicide, trauma and managing emotional challenges.

Kieran Tompsett began his career in Sales with Antalis in 2002 before moving to Forum Events in 2015 where he progressed to Senior Event Sales Manager. He then joined Media 10 Ltd as a Conference Sponsorship Sales Manager, leading the sales team of a brand-new conference division and being responsible for all sponsorship revenue streams.
In 2018, Kieran took on the role of National Business Development Manager at MISL Limited, managing business development and the sales cycle across multiple functions.
Joining Elite Document Solutions in 2019 as a Solutions Consultant, Kieran was responsible for new and existing business.
In 2022, he landed the job of Senior Solutions Consultant DocuWare & IT Services at Vision plc.
Kieran was one of the stars of BBC prime time show The Traitors, which aired on British TV in 2022 and was hosted by Claudia Winkleman. The show involves a group of contestants participating in a game in which a small group of contestants become the “Traitors”, and work together to eliminate the other contestants, while the remaining contestants become “Faithful” and are tasked to discover and banish the Traitors by voting them out.
Kieran made it to the last five contestants and was considered The Game Changer after delivering his ‘parting gift’, the exposure of Traitor Wilf which would change the lives of the three winning contestants who shared the prize of £101,500.
Kieran, who first experienced PTSD when he was in his twenties, became an Ambassador for PTSD UK in 2023 to drive awareness of the condition, help people recognise the symptoms and get help at a crucial stage.
