Kirsty Gallacher is one of the UK’s most versatile broadcasters, and presenter, best known for her time at Sky Sports.
She has enjoyed a successful 20-year career at Sky Sports, anchoring Sky Sports News’ flagship show and interviewing several huge names, including Anthony Joshua, Jordan Spieth and David Beckham.
During her time with the show, Kirsty also fronted Sky Sports’ coverage of major annual sporting events including The Ryder Cup and The Masters.
She currently presents her own weekend show on Smooth Radio, and regularly covers for the Breakfast and Drive shows.
Kirsty Gallacher has great experience in a variety of broadcasting environments having had her own series for Sky One, Kirsty’s Home Videos, which aired for 4 years. She also used to front ITV’s hugely popular Soccer Aid – the charity football match which pits celebrities against legendary footballers for UNICEF.
In addition, she presented Sky One’s Gladiators alongside Ian Wright, ITV’s Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Channel 4’s The Games. 2015 saw Kirsty take part in the hugely popular BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
In March 2021 it was announced that Kirsty would be joining the newly launched channel, GB news, as part of their Breakfast team:
“Journalism is my first love and I’m thrilled to be getting back into the heart of it at GB News, we’re really challenging the status quo with a fresh approach to news and debate”.
GB News is the first new British news network to launch in 24 years.
In July 2021 it was announced that Kirsty would join the Smooth Radio team to present a brand-new Saturday afternoon show as part of a refreshed weekend schedule for the station:

Alongside her broadcast work, Kirsty has worked with several recognisable brands in ambassadorial roles, or hosting duties, including Freemans, Hello Fresh, Kinetica, Skin & Me, Sloggi, Speedo, Sweaty Betty, Ultherapy, Vauxhall, Wellwoman, and William Hill. She is also a passionate ambassador for charities such as Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Born Free, and Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.
