Lisa Snowdon’s first foray into the public eye was as a model. Signing up to Premier Model Management aged 19, Lisa worked for various beauty adverts, appeared on high-fashion magazine covers, and modelled for top designer brands. She modelled for the covers of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire magazines and became the face of high-end designer Gucci. She would go on to work for Lynx, Mercedes-Benz, Dove Soap, Kellogg’s Special K, Neutrogena, and After Eight. She also appeared in publications including Maxim, Arena, Loaded and GQ, and appeared on FHM’s list of 100 Sexiest Women every year between 1996 and 2007 (except for 1998).
While she is now known more for her TV presenting, Lisa has appeared in campaigns for several brands, such as Avon Linger, Belvita Breakfast Biscuits, Carte Noire, Current Body, Debenhams, John Lewis, L’Oréal, Marks and Spencer, Mint Velvet, Murad, Nip & Fab, Pro Cook, Tesco, Triumph International, Vichy, and Vinted. In 2013 she joined QVC, launching an affordable but sophisticated jewellery line.
Her TV presenting credits have been as impressive as her modelling credits. In 2005 she became the head judge and presenter of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, presented Through the Keyhole (2007), and Lorraine (2016), hosted Weekend Kitchen With Waitrose (2014), and won Celebrity Masterchef in 2022. She is currently the fashion correspondent for ITV’s This Morning (2016-2022), providing weekly fashion tips and tricks. She partnered with professional dancer Brendan Cole on the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing (2008), finishing in third place.
In 2008, Lisa permanently joined Capital London as a broadcaster, working with Jonny Vaughan and Dave Berry. She would go on to stay at Capital until the end of 2015.
In 2021, Lisa launched her podcast, Get Lifted With Lisa Snowdon. Known as the ‘queen of self-care and feel-good alternative therapies’, the podcast was inspired by her Self Care Sunday Instagram series. The podcast follows Lisa as she talks to scientists, doctors and experts about topics including fasting, sleeping, breathing, energy, hormones, mental wellbeing, alternative remedies, confidence, astrology, meditation, and menopause. In fact, she’s a huge menopause advocate, often talking about it to her 650,000+ followers on social media. She co-hosts a weekly Instagram series entitled ‘Midweek Menopause Madness’.
She published her debut book Just Getting Started: Lessons in Life, Love and Menopause in 2023. Described as a “refreshingly intimate and hugely inspirational companion” to embracing life as you age, Lisa provides advice on experiences including weight gain, hormones, libido, and self-love.
She is a passionate charity advocate, supporting the Breast Cancer Charity, Capital FM’s Help a Capital Child Charity, the Meningitis Trust, and Sport Relief.
Armed with effortless elegance, amusing anecdotes, and a friendly nature, Lisa Snowdon is the perfect special guest for corporate events.
