Nina Anderson took up international athletics at the age of 35 and won double gold at the World Masters Championships (400 and 800 metres – she is currently the unbeaten European veteran champion in both these distances). Her athletics background became useful in her role as infield reporter and presenter for a variety of different track meetings and road races.
Nina’s foray into television began over a decade ago when she was able to use her background as a professional dancer to wow the audiences of Wired (Carlton) talking about London’s latest dance crazes.
Following this her diverse skills enabled her to be selected to take part in SuperHuman (Channel 4) where she was required to undertake some of the toughest scientific challenges ever seen on TV – this resulted in her not only being the highest-scoring female contestant but in addition, she also beat all the men!
Nina’s knowledge of running and athletics results in her frequently being asked to write on these subjects for various health and fitness magazines.
While Nina Anderson feels very comfortable on stage in a conference environment she also has a real passion for studio work and talkback either with or without an autocue.
In short, Nina is a versatile and experienced presenter adept at both live and pre-recorded television. Her professionalism combined with her personable nature ensures that she is a safe pair of hands for both the screen and conference platform.
