Ola Jordan

Ola Jordan is one of the world’s best professional dancers, as proved by her 8 years on the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing”.  Her warm and funny personality shone through on this programme, making her a firm audience favourite.

Originally from a small town near Warsaw in Poland, Ola began her dance career at the age of 10, where she shone, and then enrolled into a dance school when she was just 12.

From here she entered many competitions, becoming the winner of the Polish Championships at 17 in 1999 and going on to the World Championships, coming in to top 12 the same year.

More About Ola Jordan

After being contacted by James Jordan to see if she would like to be his dance partner, James went to Poland and they were a perfect match, professionally and romantically!  Ola moved to the UK in April 2000 and they were married 3 years later.

After many competition wins and representing England in the World Championships, Ola and James went to Hong Kong to teach Latin American dance.  They returned home for “Strictly Come Dancing”, where they competed with celebrities for 9 series!

Ola has now moved on from “Strictly” to new adventures.  She has an autobiography called “Strictly Ola” out, as well as a 2017 calendar.  She also teaches and runs dance events.

As well as devoting time to charity work, Ola is very keen on yoga to keep her toned and loves extreme sports (such as Wake-boarding).  She’s also quite keen on a bit of shopping too, as she finds it helps her to relax!

Ola is becoming a TV personality in her own right, appearing as a judge on “Dancing on Wheels” and looks forward to more adventures both in the broadcast and corporate world, including hosting, presenting personal appearances and ambassadors roles.
