Paul Parker is a former footballer who is best known for his years playing for Manchester United, as well as with England on the international stage.

Paul Parker’s club career started at Fulham and Queens Park Rangers, before making the big move to Manchester United in 1991. With the team, Paul won a League Cup 1992 winners medal, two Premiership title medals, and an FA Cup. After being plagued by injury, Paul found himself moving from club to club, making appearances for Derby County, Sheffield United, and Chelsea.
As well as playing for some of the biggest clubs of the time, Paul played for England’s international team, making his debut in 1989. Paul went on to play 19 games for England, before he retired from all professional games.
Like a lot of footballers, Paul made the move from playing to managing, becoming director of football at Ashford Town, joining Chelmsford City’s coaching staff before getting the top job, manager of Welling United, and as assistance manager of Folkestone Invicta. In 2009, he was named as a coaching consultant and game development officer for the Football Federation Northern Territory Australia.
His years of experience at club and international level, and as a manager, has lead him to be a well-respected football pundit. He has commentated for ESPN Star Sports, Astro SuperSport in Malaysia, and Channel NewsAsia in Singapore. He was also a lead commentator on Setanta Sports’ live Conference National coverage. He is a regular writer for Yahoo Eurosport, and is a popular addition to any corporate event.
