Phil began his working career as an estate agent, but his presenting career began a while after when he was contacted by a Scottish production company looking to develop a house-hunting show about potential house-buyers looking for the perfect property, but who know very little about the market. Phil was initially only approached to be a consultant on the show, however, with his natural ability to understand and interpret house hunters needs, he was asked to audition as a presenter for the show – the show we now know today as the popular Location Location Location (Channel4).

Today Phil and his co-host Kirstie Allsopp have become one of the UK’s best-loved presenting duo’s, working together on a number of property shows, as well as individual projects.

In 2018, Phil set up the Move iQ, and in 2010, Phil and Kirstie set up Raise the Roof Productions which produces factual entertainment for BBC and Channel 4.

Phil has led teams taking part in the Everest In The Alps Challenge, ski touring a mammoth 8,848metres uphill and helping to raise over £4.5Mil for The Brain Tumour Charity.
