Shanice Pearson is an entrepreneur, and passionate anti-bullying keynote speaker.
Shanice has over a decade of experience in the business world, having founded the jewellery brand Neicey’s Jewels in 2014. She started the company in the hope that girls will find their own way of expressing themselves through their jewellery, and avoid succumbing to trends that may affect their self-esteem.
Whilst her own schooling was fraught with difficulties, she strongly believes that every child deserves to attend school happily, without fear of judgement, name-calling or bullying.
Shanice Pearson’s aim throughout her business and speaking engagements is to create awareness of bullying, and to help young girls build their confidence and show them they can achieve anything with the right attitude.
As a child, Shanice often dreaded going to school because of the relentless bullying she faced. It consumed her thoughts, made concentrating in lessons impossible, which led to a decline in her grades. She longed to have someone to support her during this difficult time.
With a personal understanding on the detrimental effect bullying can have on mental health, Shanice is passionate about empowering the younger generations with tools that weren’t accessible to her when she was growing up. She dealt with her own pain, and used it to fuel her business, helping to inspire, encourage, and nurture young girls to achieve anything they put their mind to, and to improve their self-confidence and esteem.
Shanice currently holds assemblies and workshops with youth-led charities, and secondary schools to speak about the detrimental effect bullying has on mental health, confidence building, and friendships.

Shanice strives to support kids dealing with the aftermath of bullying, assist teachers in maintaining a safe learning environment, and share her relatable story. Her mission is to empower children to create a positive atmosphere where everyone can thrive together.
With her personal experience with bullying, Shanice has developed a Bullying Awareness Workshop.
This interactive session will:
• Define bullying and examine its impact.
• Explore how we can build a culture of respect and kindness within our schools and communities.
• Include engaging activities that empower students to support one another and take proactive steps to combat bullying.
Shanice’s hope is that this workshop will equip young people with the self-awareness and resilience they need to face challenges, both in school, the workplace and externally.
The girls had a great time learning about “individuality” through your experience, which gave them the confidence to express themselves so comfortably. I know many of them can really relate. I went around and asked the younger kids about the workshop and they used words like: “Fun, creative, made me believe in myself and not worry about what other people say about me.”
The feedback some of the young people gave was that it was a very engaging workshop; they liked that you didn’t just talk at them but it was spaced out really well. They loved the topic and how it gave them a chance to experience something that they hadn’t before.
People don’t share this much positivity and how to show individuality as you do.
Shanice shared her story about being bullied which was very relatable.
