“My mission is to champion ordinary people to achieve extraordinary things and create extraordinary transformations. I believe everyone has the capacity to do this.”
In January 2013, Sophie Radcliffe was running the commercial division at the UK’s fastest growing technology startup. She had everything society told her she needed to be happy, but she felt restless. Just three years later, her life was unrecognisable.
She is now an endurance athlete, marketer, blogger, model, and motivational speaker. “The people I’ve met, memories created, places explored and opportunities to create change are beyond my wildest imagination”.
In November 2016, Sophie raced one of the most gruelling endurance evens on the planet – World’s Toughest Mudder. A 24-hour obstacle race in the Nevada desert near Vegas. The aim of the game is to complete as many laps of the 5-mile course in 24 hours.
SOPHIE RADCLIFFE – RAISING THE BAR
Sophie believes that through challenging ourselves, we stretch our limits, break down barriers, and realise we can achieve far more than we think. We raise the bar of what we expect from ourselves, develop confidence, resilience and drive. This enables us to achieve more across all areas of life and be the best versions of ourselves. Her mission is to give you the inspiration and tools to be the very best you can be, get the most out of your life, and have fun!
Sophie writes a popular blog, sharing her adventures, achievements and even the times she felt like she could have done better. Just four months after starting her blog, she won the Big Blog Exchange, as was sent to Singapore to document her travel experience. Within two years, she had over 20,000 social media followers – a number which currently sits at just over 108,000!
As well as her own blog, Sophie has written for magazines including Outdoor Fitness, Women’s Fitness, 220 Triathlon, Huffington Post, Cyclist, Women’s Health and The Guardian.

Sophie came to speak at one of our Women’s Network events and was a pleasure from start to finish. The guests really enjoyed her speech and over a week later people are still talking about her inspiring stories. Sophie was more than happy to speak to the guests before and after the event which added an extra special touch. Thank you Sophie for coming along and sharing your experiences with us, I hope we can work together in the future.

Brooks were more than happy to jump on board with Sophie’s next challenge, London to Brighton. Having met Sophie once before, we quickly noticed her passion for a challenge, masses of enthusiasm all whist holding a smile (and a balloon). Sophie and gang completed their London to Brighton challenge in Run Happy style and documented their journey through social media. Their communication helped ignite the Brooks philosophy – the Run Happy spirit amongst their running community.

My business books between 50-100 speakers a year, and has done for over two decades. Every so often, a presentation connects on a personal level, and really moves me. That’s the case with Sophie Radcliffe. I highly recommend her.
Peter Knight, The Property Academy

Herb Kim, Founder, TedX Liverpool
Sophie provided a fascinating motivational and insightful presentation into the journey she has been on. It was illuminating to hear from Sophie on how she utilises the power of sport to develop not only herself but the younger generations. Attendees left feeling inspired by Sophie’s varied and positive talk.
