One of Spencer Kelly’s most familiar roles is as the presenter of BBC’s flagship technology programme Click. He has also reported internationally on a range of technological advances – from the latest mobile internet devices in Japan to the walking robots of South Korea.
He even experienced what it is like to be an alien in the studios of Industrial Light and Magic in San Francisco. In 2015, Spencer won Tech Personality of the Year, at the T3 Magazine Awards.
Spencer is a regular guest on BBC Radio 5 Live and Radio 2’s Steve Wright in the Afternoon and has interviewed the likes of film director James Cameron, Microsoft bosses Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, Sir David Attenborough and the Bee Gees.
As a journalist, Spencer has pursued many controversial investigations, from uncovering a Facebook security loophole to presenting the first televised demonstration of a botnet – exposing how hackers can infect of your PC with this fraud technology.
