Thomas ‘Hal’ Robson-Kanu is a former Premier League and international footballer, entrepreneur and media pundit.
Enjoying a professional playing career that spanned over 2 decades, Hal made over 300 league appearances and received 46 caps for Wales.
Hal formed part of the team that helped Wales reach the semi-finals of the 2016 European Championships, having not qualified for 57 years. In the Quarter Final match against Belgium, Hal scored a sensational goal that went on to be awarded Goal of the Tournament.
In league football, Hal played an integral part in Reading’s 2011–12 Championship-winning campaign, and also was a regular in the Premier League with both Reading and West Bromwich Albion.
He then retired from football to focus on building a business, The Tumeric Co.
Hal has been a regular pundit for the likes of Sky Sports and ITV, whilst also appearing as a guest on shows such as Soccer AM and BBC’s Question of Sport.
Thomas, whose full name is actually Thomas Henry Alex “Hal” Robson-Kanu, started his career as a schoolboy for Arsenal before being released at 15, when he moved on to the Reading Academy.
Following the signing of a professional contract in 2007, Thomas was released on loan in 2008 . After time away, He returned to Reading and helped them get promoted to the top flight in the 2011/2012 season, with his Premier League debut coming in 2012. Hal left Reading and joined West Brom on a 2-year deal, on deadline day, for the 2016-17 season, where he remained until 2021.
Despite his success with the Wales international team, Hal initially played for England at Under 19 and Under 20 level, before switching to Wales in 2010. Thanks to his Welsh grandmother, Thomas was able to switch allegiance and he received his first senior international cap for Wales in a match against Croatia in 2010.

Since then, Thomas has commissioned clinical studies to validate the functional properties of his anti-inflammatory products.
