She was awarded a ‘Points of Light’ Award by the Prime Minister in recognition of outstanding volunteering in 2014 and was nominated in the ‘Adventurer of the Year’ category of the National Adventure Awards in 2016. She is a proud ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Girlguiding UK.
