Vicky is an Olympic medal-winning English triathlete and 6-time World Triathlon Series winner.
She is the first female triathlete to secure an Olympic medal for Great Britain – a bronze in 2016 Rio de Janeiro games. Alongside her Olympic bronze, she has won nine gold, five silver and four bronze medals in total from the World Triathlon Series and Commonwealth Games.
After a two year break to have a baby, Vicky returned to racing in the Tangier World Cup in 2023. She finished in a commendable seventh place, demonstrating a strong performance in her first race back
In addition to her racing career, Holland has been appointed to the British Triathlon Board as the Elite Athlete Representative. This role involves acting as a liaison between the board and Britain’s elite athletes, working with key stakeholders, and participating in national and international forums. She has also joined the British Triathlon Athlete Commission, further extending her influence and support for fellow athletes

Vicky Holland was a very sporty student, competing nationally in swimming at school before moving to athletics and participating in the 1,500 metres. It wasn’t until her second year at Loughborough University that she took up the triathlon, after being approached by the British Triathlon Federation.
She first represented GB at the Olympics in the 2012 London Games before winning a bronze medal four years later. As well as this medal, Vicky holds a plethora of medals of all colours. As of 2023, she has won two ITU World Triathlon, one ITU Triathlon Mixed Relay, and one Commonwealth Bronze medal, three ITU World Triathlon, one ITU Triathlon Mixed Relay, and one Commonwealth Silver, and six ITU World Triathlon, one ITU Triathlon Mixed Relay, one World Cup, and one Commonwealth Gold.
She has also competed at the Super League Triathlon and was appointed the Elite Athlete Representative on the British Triathlon Board in 2021 as an advocate for Britain’s elite athletes.
